2009 Kingston Calendars

Hi everyone,

I've just completed designing and donating a fund raising calendar of local photos of Kingston for the Kingston Police Explorer Post. This is a very worthwhile organization for youths seeking more information in the every day workings of law enforcement. Anyone interested in purchasing these calendars can contact Cpl. Scott Peltier at the Kingston Police Dept. or contact me at 642-4140.

Hi Patricia, Sorry you had trouble accessing my photos. Please try again
www.betterphoto.com?kathyinnh

I recently posted snow scenes of the White Mountains that I took Easter Sunday. I hadn't been up there all winter and wanted some snow shots of the area. I need to upload some of them here. Have a great day.

I'd like to invite everyone to check out the wonderful talented local artists at the MAA Gallery located at 1528 N. Elm St., directly across from Pappy's Pizza. If you are coming in from I-93 take the Bridge St. exit into downtown, take a right on Elm St., the gallery will be on your left at the next light.

The gallery is run by the Manchester Artists Association and has a new exhibit every two months with an opening reception. For an enjoyable evening consider taking the Trolley Tours, the MAA Gallery is one of their stops. Chat with the different artists and get insight into their individual pieces. View the different mediums on display and search for that perfect art piece for your walls.

Manchester is fortunate to offer many art galleries throughout the city. Be sure and watch for the opening of the Currier Art Gallery. Be sure to support the local arts.

Hey Kathy,

Welcome to the site! I can't really help you with your question regarding the building in Concord, but I'm thrilled that you've decided to join the network.

NH.com is getting a face lift soon and we'll be looking for new freelancers so I'm definitely going to keep you in mind :)

In the meantime though, feel free to upload your photos to this site or to the photo gallery on NH.com. There are tons of great photos of the state taken by photographers of all kinds.

Take care,
Morgen

Hi Kathy,

I'm a writer and photography and have a passion for old barns too. I grew up across the road from one in Hudson that I still love. I can't help with the cupola question, but I'd guess the state house might have some answers, or the historical society.
I've looked at the FP site for courses (I got led there by googling the Nackey S Loeb award. Can you point me to where the courses are that you're talking about?
I love learning new things. :)

As a freelance photographer I would eventually like to write articles that accompany my photographs and publish them in magazines and newspapers.

I recently received the Nacky S. Loeb School Fellowship award. I've taken their classes in Photography, Photojournalism, news writing, criminal writing, feature writing, First Amendment Law and am currently taking InDesign/Photoshop. Anyone wishing to explore the field of journalism and broadcasting should check out this school. Most of the classes are free of charge and offer top notch instructors. I can't tell you how much these courses have enhanced my life.

I have a question for everyone, I am seeking information on the round brick building with the crooked cupola in Concord that is visible from I-93. I have a recent photo I took but need more info about it to put on my notecards and photos. So far I have only vague info so please help if you can. Thanks.
