Just joined 603 and thought I would find where the photogs hang! Was born with a Nikon in my hand (so says the family) and will probably die with one there too!

As a newbie to Area 603 i signed up to the writers group and now to the Photo group. My current interest is slide recovery and reprint via the scanner/computer methods. I have some 300 slides, ectachrome, kodak and Fuji. These range in age from 50 years to 30 years old. Some are losing the color, and appear "red toned". The scanner produces a reprint, eliminating the red, but ends up with a grainy look.
So i would offer the slide pics, after my edit, up grades and processing. I would like a bit of technical advice on this process, as the scan seems to be overcome technically, for now.
Thanks for Area 603 and this group. Advice certainly welcome.

Come on, let's see some photos!I'm sure you add them other places, what is one more measly little website?

Betty: As far as adding pics goes, try a few things and let everyone know what works for you. I am continually testing out new ways and styles to upload. I would rather see pictures in my post, than links to another site. This is a photo group after all. We all love to show off!
