I recently donated my photographs of Kingston for a fundraising calendar for the Kingston Police Explorer Post. I spent the entire day from 8 am to 8 pm at the voting polls in Kingston selling them for the Explorers. I was thrilled when we tallied up the sales at the end of the day and sold 114 calendars. All the profits went to the Expl;orers and they are using the mone to buy new uniforms. I thank all the Kingston residents that bought the calendars to help support this worth group.
I sent an answer to this but I don't think it went through so I am sending it again. I ordered the calendars through Staples. The secret is to order them on line because they are $2 cheaper than going into the store to order them. Online they are $9.99 each and you can order as many or as few as you want. We sold them for $15.00 each. This was the cheapest place I found. Not knowing how well they would sell, we didn't want to order a large volume and possible be stuck with dated calendars that we couldn't sell. You can just keep going back and ordering them as needed. We ended up so far selling over $2,000 worth of calendars, a nice little profit for this fundraiser. I'm not saying everyone will do that well. In our case it was the right place at the right time. The voting polls during a very important presidential elections. It was the sheer volumn of people that showed up for this election and the fact we were there from 8 am to 8 pm promoting the calendars as the residents came out from the polls which really paid off for us. Good luck with your calendars.
